2025 Suzuki Avenis, Burgman Launched with OBD-2B Compliance in India
Suzuki has made its entire two-wheeler lineup, including the Avenis and Burgman, compliant with the OBD-2B emissions standards.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has introduced the OBD-2B compliant Avenis and Burgman series (including the Burgman Street and Burgman Street EX) in the Indian market. With this move, the brand’s entire two-wheeler range is now fully aligned with stricter OBD-2B emissions standards. While the pricing of the Avenis remains unchanged with the new update, it is now available in an exclusive special edition, priced at Rs 94,000 (ex-showroom), in stylish matte black and silver shades.
The standard variant of the Avenis is priced at Rs 93,200, maintaining its appeal to customers seeking performance and sustainability. It is available in four colour options: yellow and black, black and red, black and white, and glossy black.
2025 Suzuki Avenis, Burgman: Other Details

Apart from this OBD-2B modification, the mechanical configuration of the Avenis remains the same. It still features the 124cc engine that generates a maximum power output of 8.5bhp and a peak torque of 10Nm.

Though both the Avenis and Burgman are powered by the same 124cc engine, the Suzuki Burgman Street EX comes equipped with Eco Performance Alpha engine technology. This includes an auto stop-start function and a silent starter system, enhancing both efficiency and ride quality. The engine produces 8.4bhp of power. However, the torque remains the same.
Additionally, the Burgman Street EX is equipped with a larger 12-inch rear wheel, offering better stability and handling on the road.
The Suzuki Burgman Street EX has three colour options (a new matte blue, matte black, and bronze), and is priced starting at Rs 1.16 lakh. For those seeking a more budget-friendly option, the Burgman Street offers two variants—the Standard Edition and the Ride Connect—starting at Rs 95,800.

The variant comes in a wider selection of seven hues: green, stone grey, matte black, white, silver, matte blue, and black. All prices are ex-showroom.
